The results are in! KAPPI and Metropolitan Drug Commission asked high school students (public and private) in grades 9-12 to send in their 30-second Public Service Announcements (PSAs) addressing either prescription drug abuse and/or teen pregnancy prevention for the second annual teen video contest. There were some great entries and the PSAs collectively received nearly 2,000 views. Great job everyone!

The “Legal Can Be Lethal” category, based on prescription drug abuse, gained a total of 499 votes. The winner of this category received 208 votes. Way to go!

The winner of this category is:

Team KAK

The “My Body, My Future” category was about teen pregnancy prevention. Both videos totaled 378 votes. The winner of this category received 212 votes. Wow!

The winner of this category is:

Team Hot Mommas

Every entry helped spread awareness about prescription drug abuse and/or teen pregnancy prevention. Each video received over 100 views! We appreciate the time and creative efforts everyone put into these PSAs. We look forward to seeing next year’s entries!
